I was in a desperate need for a place to stay for my new role local to the area and each member of staff supported me with this and we’re showing me around properties that had not even gone online. They also accommodated around my working times and did online paperwork which was simple to do and sped up the process. I will happily work with them again should I need to.
Devon Rose were the agents for the flat i lived in for 5 years. The team were always helpful, friendly and respectful of my privacy. I would highly recommend Devon Rose for their professional service and in depth knowledge of lettings. Legislation has rightly tightened up over recent years and even good landlords have the potential to come unstuck if they do not carry out the correct property checks. Julie’s advice was invaluable to me and her enthusiasm for doing things the right way is what attracted me to use their service.
We have put our property letting in the hands of Devon Rose for approx 20 years. The present Spayne family team are excellent. Tenants have been quickly found and suitable checks on references are always taken. Hand over clearance and inventory are always carefully undertaken. Devon Rose have provided a service out of hours as a courtesy eg, when a tenant locks themselves out. Julie is particularly good in resolving difficult situations in a calm and effective way, which removes any stress for us as landlords. This is a progressive business and their steady growth has in no way compromised the service they provide. They continue to be able to offer an individual contact, the extremely efficient secretary / bookkeeper is always aware of our situation and can immediately offer advice or contact a local service to assist. Thank you Devon Rose for making a difficult process during difficult times run smoothly and relatively stress free! My tenancy process was treated thoroughly and professionally also all were very helpful with my many queries and some small issues were sorted speedily.
This was the only company in 4 months to return a curtious email, even though the property had already had a high level of interest. Which was much appreciated as it has been and continues to be an uphill struggle to get on any list to view property.
