Dawlish is a charming seaside town with a rich history that is intertwined with tourism and the railway line. Originally occupied by fishermen and salt makers, Dawlish exploded to life in the 19th century after Isambard Kingdom Brunel designed the line that would make Dawlish the first resort in the region to be served by railway.
The appealing town green nestled alongside the babbling brook with iconic black swans, coupled with the nearby blue flagged beaches of Dawlish Warren and country walks, provides the centre piece for the lively tourism trade which makes Dawlish such a pleasant place to live.
Devon Rose have been situated in the heart of Dawlish for almost thirty years and manage hundreds of properties in the town, so we can proudly say we are the first stop for tenants and landlords in the area.
Today Dawlish has a wide range of interesting housing from delightful cottages on narrow streets to impressive Georgian Villas. The town centre is full of bustling independent shops and welcoming tea rooms whilst the area features excellent facilities including schools, leisure facilities and transport links to nearby Exeter and Newton Abbott.
